Running Club is a dynamic group of runners with various goals ranging from walking 5k's to setting personal records in various distances. It is a group learning setting that allows runners to learn from the coach and to share their experiences.
Runners will be divided up into groups based on their abilities and goals, and each group will receive an appropriate workout to help them accomplish their goals.
Coach:
Running Club is coached by Dream Believe TRI Coach Kim Dunker, a former Divison II Cross Country and Track runner at the University of Tampa.
When:
- Mondays at 9:30 am at Jittery Joe's Five Points
- Wednesdays at 5:30-6:30 pm at Jittery Joe's Five Point
Where:
Fall/Winter Running Club will be meeting at Jittery Joe's in Five Points, at the intersection of Milledge and Lumpkin.
What to Expect:
- Weekly workouts vary from track workouts, tempo runs, and hill workouts;
- Practice lasts approximately one hour, including warm-up, stretching and drills, workout, and a cool-down;
- Friendship with fellow walkers and runners. Running Club gives you the tools and connections to meet and make training partners with other members of Running Club.
Cost:
$54 for a punch card includes six sessions of Running Club and is valid for eight weeks from purchase. The punch card can be used for morning or evening sessions.
First-time runners get one free session to try out Running Club, so come to the track and try it out! You can also contact us for more information.
